Om sommeren kan du  ogs\u00e5 flyve direkte til Qaqortoq fra Island (Reykjavik, KEF).<\/p><p>Du k\u00f8ber billetten p\u00e5 de forskellige flyselskabers hjemmesider:<\/p><p><a title=\"Air Greenland\" href=\"http:\/\/www.airgreenland.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Air Greenland<\/a> Flyver fra Nuuk til Qaqortoq<\/p><p><a title=\"Air Iceland\" href=\"https:\/\/www.icelandair.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Icelandair<\/a> flyver fra Reykjavik til Qaqortoq. Iceland Air har \"connecting flights\" til de fleste st\u00f8rre byer i USA og EU. Med bare et enkelt stop i Reykjavik.<\/p><p>Flere forskellige flyselskaber flyver fra Europa og USA til Danmark og Island.\u00a0<\/p><p><em>Bem\u00e6rk venligst, at flybilletter ikke er inkluderet i nogen af vores ture og produkter.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>                    <\/div>\n\t\t        \n                    <div id=\"where-to-stay-tab\" class=\"clearfix eael-tab-content-item inactive\" data-title-link=\"where-to-stay-tab\">\n\t\t\t\t        <p><strong>Hotel<br \/><\/strong>Der er hoteller i byerne Narsarsuaq, Narsaq, Qaqortoq og Nanortalik. Standarden varierer fra 2 til 4-stjernet. De fleste hoteller har v\u00e6relser med eget bad\/toilet eller delt bad\/toilet. Alle hotellerne har en restaurant og inkluderer altid morgenmad i overnatningsprisen.<br \/>P\u00e5 bygdehotellet i Igaliku har v\u00e6relserne delt bad\/toilet, mens hytterne har eget bad\/toilet. I Igaliku er der ogs\u00e5 restaurant p\u00e5 bygdehotellet.\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Guest house<br \/><\/strong>Det som vi kalder \u201cguesthouse\u201d-indkvartering i vores pakketure d\u00e6kker over forskellige overnatningssteder, der er kendetegnet ved, at man bor p\u00e5 dobbeltv\u00e6relser med opredning med senget\u00f8j og h\u00e5ndkl\u00e6de samt adgang til delt bad\/toilet. Der er morgenmad inkluderet i prisen. Der er ofte adgang til et lille k\u00f8kken, men alle steder er der ogs\u00e5 mulighed for at spise aftensmad, enten p\u00e5 overnatningsstedet eller i n\u00e6rheden.<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Vandrehjem<\/strong><br \/>Der findes vandrehjem i alle byerne samt bygden Qassiarsuk. Vandrehjemmene er et billigere alternativ til hotellerne, ogs\u00e5 fordi de alle har veludstyrede k\u00f8kkener, hvor du selv kan lave din aftensmad. Standarden p\u00e5 vandrehjemmene kan variere noget, men de fleste er hyggelige og moderne. Der er delt bad\/toilet og v\u00e6relserne er 2, 4 og 6-sengs v\u00e6relser. Du b\u00f8r medbringe egen sovepose og h\u00e5ndkl\u00e6de. Nogle steder kan dette dog lejes, ligesom du ofte kan bestille morgenmad. Der er ingen rabat til kunder med vandrekort (medlemskort Danhostel) p\u00e5 gr\u00f8nlandske vandrehjem.<\/p><p><strong>F\u00e5reholdersted<\/strong><br \/>Mange f\u00e5reholdersteder i Sydgr\u00f8nland tilbyder overnatning. Dette er en hel unik mulighed for at opleve livet hos en gr\u00f8nlandsk familie, som lever isoleret men moderne, midt i en overv\u00e6ldende natur. Standarden varierer mellem vandrehjem og guesthouse p\u00e5 de forskellige steder, s\u00e5 nogle steder overnatter du i egen sovepose og kan lave din egen mad, andre steder er der opredning med senget\u00f8j og mulighed for at bestille alle m\u00e5ltider.<\/p>                    <\/div>\n\t\t        \n                    <div id=\"what-to-bring-tab\" class=\"clearfix eael-tab-content-item inactive\" data-title-link=\"what-to-bring-tab\">\n\t\t\t\t        <p>Til vores pakketure anbefaler vi:<\/p><ul><li>Sovepose og h\u00e5ndkl\u00e6de (kun hvis du overnatter p\u00e5 vandrehjem)<\/li><li>Indesko (god id\u00e9 p\u00e5 vandrehjem og f\u00e5reholdersteder)<\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">Vandrest\u00f8vler eller solide vandresko<\/li><\/ul><p>T\u00f8j efter lag-p\u00e5-lag princippet:<\/p><ul><li class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">Vind- og vandt\u00e6t yderbekl\u00e6dning<\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">Sweater eller fleece som mellemlag<\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">T-shirts og lang\u00e6rmede bluser (det kan blive rigtig varmt i solen p\u00e5 land)<\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">Hue og vanter (til sejlturen p\u00e5 isfjorden)<\/li><\/ul><p>Der er mulighed for at vaske t\u00f8j p\u00e5 vandrehjemmet i Narsarsuaq, Narsaq og Qaqortoq.<\/p><ul><li>Myggenet og myggespray (kan ogs\u00e5 k\u00f8bes p\u00e5 Blue Ice Caf\u00e9). Mygges\u00e6sonen er mest i juni og juli i Sydgr\u00f8nland. Der kan v\u00e6re sm\u00e5 fluer i august. Myg er stort set ikke eksisterende i f\u00e5reholderomr\u00e5derne, men kan v\u00e6re generende i Narsarsuaq og fjeldomr\u00e5der med f\u00e5 eller ingen f\u00e5r!<\/li><li>Solbriller og solcreme<\/li><\/ul><p>Vi anbefaler at du pakker dine ting i en bl\u00f8d taske (duffel-bag) eller rygs\u00e6k frem for i en h\u00e5rd kuffert med hjul. Taskerne er nemmere at transportere med b\u00e5d og bil, og hjulene er alligevel ikke meget bevendt p\u00e5 grusvejene.<\/p>                    <\/div>\n\t\t        \n                    <div id=\"food-drink-tab\" class=\"clearfix eael-tab-content-item inactive\" data-title-link=\"food-drink-tab\">\n\t\t\t\t        <p>K\u00f8d og fisk er fundamentet i gr\u00f8nlandsk kost, s\u00e5 v\u00e6r forberedt p\u00e5 en masse af dette, og knap s\u00e5 mange gr\u00f8ntsager og tilbeh\u00f8r! I Sydgr\u00f8nland vil du is\u00e6r f\u00e5 serveret lam, men ogs\u00e5 moskus, rensdyr og hval. Torsk, fjeld\u00f8rred og rejer er de mest anvendte fisk i Sydgr\u00f8nland. Hvis du har mulighed for selv at lave mad, er et bes\u00f8g p\u00e5 \u201cBr\u00e6dtet\u201d et must. Det er her fiskere og fangere s\u00e6lger deres friskfangede produkter. I Sydgr\u00f8nland er flere f\u00e5reholdere ogs\u00e5 begyndt at dyrke kartofler, majroer, salat og k\u00e5l i st\u00f8rre stil, som du kan nyde godt af, hvis du rejser sidst p\u00e5 sommeren.<\/p><p><strong>\u00c5bningstider<\/strong><br \/>Der er f\u00f8devarerbutikker (Pilersuisoq) i bygderne Narsarsuaq, Qassiarsuk og Igaliku med konserves, t\u00f8r- og frostvarer og et begr\u00e6nset udvalg af friske vare. Hvis din pakketur g\u00e5r til \u00e9n af de st\u00f8rre byer, anbefaler vi altid, at du handler f\u00f8devarer i et supermarked d\u00e9r, inden du skal videre til en mindre bygd\/f\u00e5reholdersted.<\/p><p>I byerne Narsaq, Qaqortoq og Nanortalik har butikker generelt \u00e5bent fra 8-9 om morgenen til 17-18 om aftenen p\u00e5 hverdage og lidt kortere l\u00f8rdag og s\u00f8ndag. I bygderne (Narsarsuaq, Qassiarsuk og Igaliku) er butikkens \u00e5bningstider imidlertid noget mere begr\u00e6nset: hverdage ofte fra 10 til 15, l\u00f8rdag 10-12 og helt lukket s\u00f8ndag.<\/p><p><strong>Om bespisning i bygder og p\u00e5 f\u00e5reholdersteder\u00a0<br \/><\/strong>Vi anbefaler altid, at du benytter dig af muligheden for at spise lokalt, og dermed smage forskellige gr\u00f8nlandske retter, gerne med lokale r\u00e5varer. Husk blot p\u00e5, at du p\u00e5 isolerede steder (f.eks f\u00e5reholdersteder og Igaliku Bygdehotel) ikke skal forvente et stort udvalg af retter (\u00e0 la carte menu) eller speciel b\u00f8rnemenu eller vegetarretter, da indk\u00f8bsmuligheder og vareudvalg er meget begr\u00e6nset disse steder. Hvis du er vegetar eller har en form for f\u00f8devareallergi (f.eks fisk), beder vi dig om at oplyse os det p\u00e5 forh\u00e5nd. S\u00e5 har de mulighed for, p\u00e5 de forskellige steder, at tilrettel\u00e6gge menuen bedst muligt.<\/p><p><strong>Priser\u00a0<br \/><\/strong>Prisniveauet p\u00e5 f\u00f8devarer i butikker ligger nogenlunde som i det \u00f8vrige Nordeuropa. Frisk frugt og gr\u00f8nsager, spiritus og slik er det dyreste. Du kan betale med kreditkort i butikker (ogs\u00e5 i bygderne), hoteller, restauranter (inkl. Igaliku Bygdehotel) og turistkontorer. Det er imidlertid en rigtig god id\u00e9 ogs\u00e5 at have kontanter i form af danske kroner med, og is\u00e6r hvis du skal overnatte p\u00e5 et f\u00e5reholdersted, hvor det er eneste betalingsmiddel. Der er h\u00e6veautomat i byerne Narsaq, Qaqortoq og Nanortalik.<\/p><p><strong>Telefoni\u00a0<br \/><\/strong>Der er mobild\u00e6kning i alle byer og bygder. Du skal imidlertid ikke regne med mobiltelefonen som en sikkerhed p\u00e5 en vandretur, da der er mange steder i terr\u00e6net, hvor du ikke har signal. Skal du p\u00e5 en l\u00e6ngerevarende vandre- eller kajaktur gennem isolerede omr\u00e5der, anbefaler vi at du lejer en satellittelefon.<\/p><p><strong>Internet\u00a0<br \/><\/strong>Der er tr\u00e5dl\u00f8st internet p\u00e5 de fleste overnatningssteder i byerne (inkl. There are less than 90 inhabitants in the village. The old airport and many of the buildings in Narsarsuaq were built by the Americans in 1941, when this remote airstrip code-named Bluie West One served as a key base of operations for U.S. aircraft on supply missions between America and Europe. .&lt;\\\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Narsarsuaq is the ideal point for excursions in the area. It only takes a few hours of hiking through magnificent scenery before you are rewarded with a view of the ice cap. By 1950 the population counted 150 people who made a living from farming (cattle and sheep), supplemented by hunting and fishing. Today there are about 30 permanent residents, but many former residents and their families have kept their houses in Igaliku as summer residences\\\/cottages, and the village is incredibly quaint and full of life during the summer.&lt;\\\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Aside from its fascinating Norse ruins, Igaliku has some of the best hiking tours (day trips) in the area, and you can hike to Qaqortoq in 3-4 days. In the backcountry are high mountains, including the famous Kvanefjeld, which contains over 200 different minerals and is a Mecca for anyone interested in geology. There are several nice walks around Narsaq, and many multi-day kayak trips start or end here. In addition, the museum is a magnet for visitors, with some fine exhibits on the Norse, Narsaq\\u2019s recent history and the geology in the area, including an excellent collection of minerals and stones.&lt;\\\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Narsaq is a natural starting point for tours where you can get a closer look at the ice. The project \\u201cStone and Man\\u201d consists of more than 30 sculptures that are carved into the granite bedrock by various artists. This permanent exhibition makes a stroll around the city a very special experience.&lt;\\\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;From Qaqortoq you can also visit the famous Hvalsey Church on a short excursion (half an hour by boat one way). This is the best preserved ruin from the Norse period. Nanortalik is probably the town in South Greenland that has best maintained this tradition and hunting culture is a part of everyday life for many families. About 1,300 people live in Nanortalik.&lt;\\\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The museum is one of the most exciting in Greenland. Several old colonial houses contain exhibits where you can see copies of the famous old Norse clothing from Herjolfsn\\u00e6s, a collection of kayaks and umiaks (skin boats), an Inuit settlement with sod huts and summer tents and much more. You can take shorter hikes up vantage points, as well as to the original colonial settlement, \\u201cold Nanortalik\\u201d (\\u201cSissarissoq\\u201d), located just a couple of kilometres outside the city.&lt;\\\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;From Nanortalik you can visit the magnificent Tasermiut Fjord on a boat tour. The steep pointed peaks and vertical granite walls extend nearly 2,000 metres into the sky. The area is world famous among climbers and mountaineers, but you do not have to be quite that ambitious! It is a great experience just to take a boating trip on the fjord or visit one of the local settlements \\u2013 Tasiusaq, Narsarmijit (Frederiksdal) and Aappilattoq \\u2013 where it seems as if time has stood still. The old airport and many of the buildings in Narsarsuaq were built by the Americans in 1941, when this remote airstrip code-named Bluie West One served as a key base of operations for U.S. aircraft on supply missions between America and Europe. .<\/p><p>Narsarsuaq is the ideal point for excursions in the area. It only takes a few hours of hiking through magnificent scenery before you are rewarded with a view of the ice cap. I \u00e5r 2000 blev der opf\u00f8rt en replica af et langhus samt en lille t\u00f8rvekirke; Tjodhildes Kirke, et frilandsmuseum du kan bes\u00f8ge p\u00e5 en dagstur fra Narsarsuaq.<\/p><p>Der er rigtig fine vandreture langs f\u00e5restier og grusveje, der tager udgangspunkt i Qassiarsuk. Det var nordmanden Anders Olsen og hans gr\u00f8nlandske hustru Tuperna, der etablerede sig som landm\u00e6nd i 1782. De f\u00f8rste tilflyttere byggede deres huse af sten fra de mange nordboruiner, der l\u00e5 i omr\u00e5det (Stedet var kendt som Gardar \u2013 Nordboernes Bispes\u00e6de i Vikingetiden). Bygden oplevede en storhedstid i f\u00f8rste halvdel af 1900tallet, hvor der i 1950 boede 146 indbyggere, som levede af landbrug (kv\u00e6g- og f\u00e5reavl) suppleret med fangst og fiskeri. I dag bor der ca 30 faste indbyggere, men mange fra Sydgr\u00f8nland og Nuuk har sommerhus i Igaliku, og bygden er utrolig idyllisk og summer af liv om sommeren.<\/p><p>Igaliku har nogle af de flotteste vandreture (dagsture) i omr\u00e5det, ligesom du kan vandre til Qaqortoq p\u00e5 3-4 dage. I baglandet ligger h\u00f8je fjelde, heriblandt det kendte Kvanefjeld, som indeholder over 200 forskellige mineraler, og er et eldorado for geologiinteresserede. Der er flere fine vandreture omkring Narsaq, ligesom mange kajakture starter eller slutter her. Derudover er museet imponerende, med mange fine udstillinger der omhandler Nordboer, Narsaqs nyere historie og den sp\u00e6ndende geologi i omr\u00e5det med en imponerende sten og mineralsamling.<\/p><p>Fra Narsaq er det oplagt at tage p\u00e5 en sejltur ud og kigge n\u00e6rmere p\u00e5 isen, da den ligger s\u00e5 t\u00e6t p\u00e5! Blue Ice tilbyder bl.a en b\u00e5dtur til indlandsisen (stedet der af lokale bliver kaldt for Tvillingebr\u00e6en). The old airport and many of the buildings in Narsarsuaq were built by the Americans in 1941, when this remote airstrip code-named Bluie West One served as a key base of operations for U.S. aircraft on supply missions between America and Europe.<\/p><p>Narsarsuaq is the ideal point for excursions in the area. It only takes a few hours of hiking through magnificent scenery before you are rewarded with a view of the ice cap. Der bor i dag ca 40 indbyggere men bygdens butik, skole og kirke servicerer ogs\u00e5 de 12 f\u00e5reholdsteder der ligger p\u00e5 halv\u00f8en, som str\u00e6kker sig helt til Narsaq. Hele omr\u00e5det er sp\u00e6kket med nordboruiner, og ark\u00e6ologer mener at ruinerne i Qassiarsuk er det sted hvor Erik den R\u00f8de slog sig ned, og som han gav navnet Brattahlid. I \u00e5r 2000 blev der opf\u00f8rt en replica af et langhus samt en lille t\u00f8rvekirke; Tjodhildes Kirke, et frilandsmuseum du kan bes\u00f8ge p\u00e5 en dagstur fra Narsarsuaq.<\/p><p>Der er rigtig fine vandreture langs f\u00e5restier og grusveje, der tager udgangspunkt i Qassiarsuk. Heriblandt ogs\u00e5 den klassiske flerdagstur til Narsaq. Der er et vandrehjem og et f\u00e5reholdsted, der tilbyder overnatning i bygden.<\/p><h3>UNESCO verdensarv<\/h3><p>I 2017 blev fem omr\u00e5der i Sydgr\u00f8nland (inklusiv Qassiarsuk) optaget p\u00e5 UNESCO\u00b4s verdensarvsliste. Det var nordmanden Anders Olsen og hans gr\u00f8nlandske hustru Tuperna, der etablerede sig som landm\u00e6nd i 1782. De f\u00f8rste tilflyttere byggede deres huse af sten fra de mange nordboruiner, der l\u00e5 i omr\u00e5det (Stedet var kendt som Gardar \u2013 Nordboernes Bispes\u00e6de i Vikingetiden). Bygden oplevede en storhedstid i f\u00f8rste halvdel af 1900tallet, hvor der i 1950 boede 146 indbyggere, som levede af landbrug (kv\u00e6g- og f\u00e5reavl) suppleret med fangst og fiskeri. I dag bor der ca 30 faste indbyggere, men mange fra Sydgr\u00f8nland og Nuuk har sommerhus i Igaliku, og bygden er utrolig idyllisk og summer af liv om sommeren.<\/p><p>Igaliku har nogle af de flotteste vandreture (dagsture) i omr\u00e5det, ligesom du kan vandre til Qaqortoq p\u00e5 3-4 dage. Der er bygdehotel med hytter og restaurant i Igaliku. I dag bor der ca 1500 indbyggere. Byen ligger meget smukt placeret ud til et sund, der n\u00e6sten altid er fyldt med isbjerge fra de omkringliggende gletschere. I baglandet ligger h\u00f8je fjelde, heriblandt det kendte Kvanefjeld, som indeholder over 200 forskellige mineraler, og er et eldorado for geologiinteresserede. Der er flere fine vandreture omkring Narsaq, ligesom mange kajakture starter eller slutter her. Derudover er museet imponerende, med mange fine udstillinger der omhandler Nordboer, Narsaqs nyere historie og den sp\u00e6ndende geologi i omr\u00e5det med en imponerende sten og mineralsamling.<\/p><p>Fra Narsaq er det oplagt at tage p\u00e5 en sejltur ud og kigge n\u00e6rmere p\u00e5 isen, da den ligger s\u00e5 t\u00e6t p\u00e5! Blue Ice tilbyder bl.a en b\u00e5dtur til indlandsisen (stedet der af lokale bliver kaldt for Tvillingebr\u00e6en). I dag er det Sydgr\u00f8nlands st\u00f8rste by med ca 3.300 indbyggere. Den er centrum for uddannelse i Sydgr\u00f8nland med gymnasium og handelsskole, folkeh\u00f8jskole og turisme\/guideuddannelse, hvilket giver den et pulserende liv med mange unge mennesker. Derudover er den hjemby for mange gr\u00f8nlandske kunstnere, hvilket ogs\u00e5 har sat sit pr\u00e6g p\u00e5 byen. Projektet \u201cSten og Menneske\u201d udg\u00f8r mere end 30 skulpturer, der er hugget ind i byens klipper af forskellige kunstnere, og som g\u00f8r en spadseretur rundt i byen til en helt speciel oplevelse.<\/p><p>Fra Qaqortoq kan du bes\u00f8ge Hvals\u00f8 Kirke p\u00e5 en kort sejltur (\u00bd time hver vej). Kirkeruinen er nok den bedst bevarede ruin fra nordbotiden. Nogle gange bliver turen kombineret med et stop ved Upernaviarsuk, som er Sydgr\u00f8nlands landbrugsskole og fors\u00f8gsstation. Byen er en typisk gr\u00f8nlandsk by, med spredte tr\u00e6huse malet i alle regnbuens farver, og et livligt havnemilj\u00f8. I gamle dage flyttede s\u00e6lfangerne ud p\u00e5 de yderste \u00f8er om for\u00e5ret for at jage klapmydser, n\u00e5r de trak forbi sammen med storisen. Nanortalik er nok den by i Sydgr\u00f8nland, hvor flest stadig holder fast i denne tradition, og fangerkulturen er en del af hverdagen for mange. Der bor ca 1300 indbyggere i Nanortalik. Byen r\u00e5der over et af Gr\u00f8nlands flotteste museer, hvor flere gamle kolonibygninger rummer udstillinger med bl.a de gamle nordbodragtfund fra Herjolfsn\u00e6s, kajakker og koneb\u00e5de, en Inuitboplads med jordhytter og telte og meget mere. Der er ogs\u00e5 mulighed for korte vandreture op p\u00e5 udsigtspunkter, samt til det \u201cgamle Nanortalik\u201d lidt uden for byen.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p>Fra Nanortalik kan du bes\u00f8ge den storsl\u00e5ede Tasermiut fjord p\u00e5 en sejltur. Her str\u00e6kker sylespidse fjeldtoppe og lodrette granitv\u00e6gge sig n\u00e6sten 2000 meter op mod himlen. Omr\u00e5det er verdensber\u00f8mt blandt klatrere og bjergbestigere, men du beh\u00f8ver ikke at have s\u00e5 store ambitioner! Det er en fantastisk oplevelse bare at sejle p\u00e5 fjorden, eller at bes\u00f8ge en af bygderne Tasiusaq, Narsarmijit (Frederiksdal) eller Aappilattoq, hvor tiden n\u00e6sten st\u00e5r stille.
