Igaliku omr\u00e5det har noget af det flotteste og mest varierede vandreterr\u00e6n, man kan forestille sig. Her er gr\u00f8nt og frodigt side om side med golde sten\u00f8rkener og barskt fjeldterr\u00e6n, her er den dybe bl\u00e5 Igaliku fjord og udsigt til is, vandfald og bades\u00f8er! Derudover er Igaliku en rigtig charmerende og hyggelig bygd. Det var Nordboernes bispes\u00e6de Gardar, s\u00e5 der er imponerende ruiner fra den tid, men ogs\u00e5 bygdens nyere historie er sp\u00e6ndende og kan bl.a studeres p\u00e5 det lille museum i kirken.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Turen til Plateauet er en af de flotteste og mest afvekslende ture, du kan lave p\u00e5 en dag. Du vandrer langs en brusende elv, kommer igennem et forunderligt klitlandskab, typisk pil- og birkevegetation, rene fjeldpartier med en enest\u00e5ende udsigt over Qooroq Isfjord og endelig et goldt \u201cm\u00e5nelandskab\u201d med forvitrede klipper og sten.<\/p>

Rutebeskrivelse<\/h3>

Follow the signs towards \u201cLake and Plateau\u201d, from the road opposite the cabins at the Igaliku Country Hotel. The gravel road heads out of the village towards the inner part of the fjord. However, after passing through the fence, we recommend that you follow the sheep track marked with red spots along the fjord, rather than take the dusty road, which cuts through the landscape at a higher altitude. After about 2 km you reach the stream coming from the lake and follow it (without crossing it) to the lake. Here the trail merges with the gravel road and continues around the lake. At the end of the lake you follow the marks and the path up through the narrow valley. It ascends about 200 metres before it turns north (right) into a broader valley. Follow the marks over the plateau until you reach the vantage point (signpost), which lies at about 260 m. From here there are spectacular views of the Qooroq Ice Fjord, the glacier at the head of the fjord and the big stranded icebergs on the submerged moraine. On the return, you can take the marked route that goes to the southeast (away from the fjord). You now pass through a \u201cmoon landscape\u201d of weathered rocks and have excellent possibilities here of finding the shining \u201cmoonstone\u201d (labradorite) along with rock crystals. After about 2 km, you reach the gravel road that leads almost to the top of the plateau on this side of the lake, and you now can follow it back to Igaliku.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Blue Ice Camp er en basecamp der ligger p\u00e5 en lille slette ved udmundingen af Qooroq Isfjord. Den best\u00e5r af en lille aluminiumshytte, der er fort\u00f8jet godt, da det kan bl\u00e6se voldsomt her, n\u00e5r der er f\u00f8hn! Der er k\u00f8kkengrej og gasblus i hytten. Du kan s\u00f8ge ly i hytten i d\u00e5rligt vejr, men b\u00f8r medbringe eget telt til at overnatte i. Blue Ice Camp er et perfekt sted at tilbringe et par dage, helt alene i en storsl\u00e5et natur. Du kan blive sejlet dertil fra Narsarsuaq (DKK 400 pr person). Ruten til Igaliku g\u00e5r op p\u00e5 Plateauet, hvorfra du f\u00f8lger den r\u00f8de rute ned til S\u00f8en og Igaliku.<\/p>

Rutebeskrivelse<\/h3>

F\u00f8lg markeringen lige bag campen langs med kysten (mod sydvest), hvor du holder h\u00f8jden. Efter ca 800 meter begynder stien at slynge sig stejlt opad. Opstigningen til Plateauet er p\u00e5 ca 250 h\u00f8jdemeter, men der er sti n\u00e6sten hele tiden, og den er velmarkeret. Fra plateauet er der en fabelagtig udsigt over isfjorden, hvor man tit kan fornemme den halvm\u00e5neformede unders\u00f8iske mor\u00e6ne, som de st\u00f8rste isfjelde ligger strandet p\u00e5. Flere steder p\u00e5 Plateauet er der desuden gode muligheder for at finde den skinnende \u201cm\u00e5nesten\u201d (Labradorit) samt bjergkrystaller. Fra skiltet ved udsigtspunktet kan du enten tage ruten gennem \u201cm\u00e5nelandskabet\u201d ned til s\u00f8en, eller ruten (den korteste) gennem den frodige dal ned til s\u00f8en. Orientering\/sv\u00e6rhedsgrad<\/strong>Fra Plateauet er der ingen markering. Kr\u00e6ver gode orienteringsevner og god sigtbarhed. Moderat til sv\u00e6r vandring. Fra Plateauet bliver det stejlt fjeldterr\u00e6n, blokmarker og snefaner.
Overnatning<\/strong>: Igaliku Country Hotel in Igaliku. Possibility of camping out in a tent on the plateau, which reduces the walk by about 16 km and 4-5 hours.<\/p>

Toppen Illerfissalik er hele regionens vartegn. Det er en top man f\u00e5r lyst til at bestige fra f\u00f8rste gang man ser den, og ens \u00f8jne drages mod den, n\u00e5r man sejler forbi p\u00e5 fjorden under den. Nordboerne kaldte den for Burfjeld, og holdt efter sigende udkig fra toppen. N\u00e5r de fik \u00f8je p\u00e5 skibe sydfra, t\u00e6ndte de b\u00e5l for at signalere til alle beboere i omr\u00e5det, at nu var det tid til at samles til handel og udveksling af nyheder. Toppen er med sine 1752 meter den h\u00f8jeste i omr\u00e5det. Det kr\u00e6ver ikke decideret klatring at bestige den, men det er heller ikke en tur for nybegyndere!<\/p>

Rutebeskrivelse<\/h3>

Fra Igaliku f\u00f8lges ruten til S\u00f8en og Plateauet. Fra udsigtspunktet (skiltet) p\u00e5 Plateauet forts\u00e6tter du i direkte retning mod toppen. De f\u00f8rste par kilometer er rimelig let g\u00e5et i svagt stigende terr\u00e6n. Herefter g\u00e6lder det om, at finde det bedste sted at krydse den elv der l\u00f8ber ned i slugten ved Blue Ice Camp, hvilket kan variere lidt efter \u00e5rstid og vandm\u00e6ngde. Men efter at have krydset den, forts\u00e6tter du bare direkte mod toppen. Terr\u00e6net er her meget l\u00f8st (som grus) at g\u00e5 i, s\u00e5 man fors\u00f8ger at finde s\u00e5 meget fast klippe at tr\u00e6de p\u00e5 som muligt, da det ellers hurtigt bliver et skridt op og to tilbage! Vi anbefaler at sigte mod det nederste af snefanen, der altid ligger mellem fjeldets to toppe, og s\u00e5 krydse opad p\u00e5 sneen til du n\u00e6sten er ved toppen. Det er den venstre top, du skal op p\u00e5! Det sidste stykke til toppen er bare store sten og blokke. Udsigten er selvf\u00f8lgelig helt ubeskrivelig, og p\u00e5 en klar dag kan man se det meste af Sydgr\u00f8nland!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

P\u00e5 Vandfaldsturen oplever du en r\u00e6kke vandfald, der falder flot og imponerende ned mod Tunulliarfik fjorden. Der er en frodig vegetation langs f\u00e5restierne og en flot udsigt over den bl\u00e5 fjord med drivende isbjerge, p\u00e5 hele vejen tilbage mod Igaliku.<\/p>
